Join internationally-renowned yoga and meditation teacher, Swami Saradananda in this fascinating full-day yoga retreat that combines asana, pranayama, mantra chanting and meditation with yoga philosophy that nurtures a way of being that enhances your life. Programme of the day:
10-11am Introduction to Mantra, Mudra and Meditation, followed by a guided Silent Meditation
11-1pm Yoga class: asana and pranayama with special attention to mudras and mantras
1-2pm Lunch break
2-3:15pm Talk: Sounds of Silence
3.15-3.30pm Tea Break
3.30-5pm Talk: Power in your Hands
5-5:45pm Closing Meditation
5:45-6pm Tea and good-byes
The Tutor: Swami Saradananda has devoted more than 40 years to the study, practice and teaching of yoga. A gifted teacher, she is known for her rare ability to guide students into profound levels of insight and stillness where they experience the openings that bring real transformation. She inspires you to want to practice.
Her books include “Yoga Mind and Body“, “Relax and Unwind with Yoga“, “Chakra Meditation“, “The Power of Breath” and “The Essential Guide to the Chakras” and “Mudras for Modern Life“. From her base in London, Swami Saradananda teaches workshops and seminars throughout the world.
