This is a monthly event and is held on every FIRST SATURDAY of the month (unless announced otherwise). The main activity of the day is HAVAN YAJNA (Fire Oblation ceremony) to help the participants to take part in reciting Vedic hymns for the purification of the mind and to lead a spiritual life. The programme starts at 11.00am with chants followed by reciting Vedic hymns. The ceremony will end with a short meditation, Chants and distribution of Prasadam. And if there is time some Karma Yoga will be undertaken until 1.00pm.

On this Day we will observe fast and any fruits (fresh or dry) brought by the participants will be served at Lunch time. The afternoon session will start at 3.00pm with discussions on Bhagvad Gita and other yoga scriptures, and musical items ending with Meditation and Peace Hymns. Some Guest speakers will be invited from time to time to take part in our events.

The day will end with a cup of tea and light refreshment. Members, their families and friends are welcome to take part.

There is no charge for the day but any donation to the Ashram fund or in the Offering Box will be greatly appreciated. If you wish to attend, it will be appreciated if you could let us know in advance.
