SUMMARY:Saturday Satsang with the ancient teachings
DESCRIPTION:Saturday 13th May – an open day to meet the teachings of yoga \nThe ashram is opening its doors to those who would like to know more about the ancient teachings from which yoga originated. Yoga is a way of life and the teachings give guidelines which are as relevant today as when they were first written down over 5\,000 years ago. \nIt will be an informal time\, starting at 10 am and letting the day unfold. As well as the teachings there will be breathing practices\, sounding\, meditation and relaxation; as and when appropriate. There is the option of just attending the morning session to 12.30 pm or bringing lunch with you and stay for the afternoon which will allow for further exploration and discussion. \nThe teachings are experiential and have to be lived in daily life\, only then will you know the true meaning of yoga (union). Vanessa since meeting her spiritual teacher 25 years ago has followed the path of enquiry and committed to sadhana\, therefore she has much to share from personal experience which is relevant.
